Torus Ottoman - Mays 07 - Small

Torus Ottoman designed by Umberto Bellardi Ricci for Tacchini. In the factory that produces his prototypes, Umberto Bellardi Ricci for the first time sees the elbows of the ventilation ducts, joined in groups of four and wrapped in crossed ropes. They have a curious shape, similar to that of a donut, and become a source of great inspiration for him. He reinterprets them into the basis for this singular pouf Torus, with overlapping volumes, in which industrial materials find a new aesthetic and function alongside soft and refined finishes.

Base in steel and upholstery in Mays 07, 77% virgin wool 18% viscose, 5% cotton.
