N-SS01 Shelf - Pure Oak - 3x3

The shelf N-SS01 is inspired by the umbrella- and shoe racks by the entrance of Japanese temples and Shrines, similar construction techniques were used to create the shelving system with inherent functionalities, such as removable shelves and bookends that aren’t visible at first sight. The shelf system is an adaptable piece of furniture in solid wood with a discreet expression.

About the collection

As part of the ‘Kinuta Collection’, a collaboration between the Japanese architects from Keiji Ashizawa Design and Danish Norm Architects, a set of specially designed furniture has been created with nature as a reference. An attempt to invite nature as much as possible - both through design as well as through material compositions.
