Kakta Table Lamp - 24 cm - Linen

Kakta Table Lamp is a refined, yet expressive piece that brings warmth and character to any space. Its sculptural form draws inspiration from natural patterns, evoking rippling sand beds or the textured surface of a cactus. Kakta is crafted from a bio-based wood composite, and the lamp offers a tactile, organic feel and emits a soft, warm glow.

Hyfer Objects first lamp collection is crafted in Sweden from regenerative bio-derived and recycled materials. All parts of the lamps are also recyclable and replaceable, setting a new standard for sustainability in lighting.

Material

Kakta Linen is made of PLA from bio-based materials and consists of 40% wood scrap fibers from the Swedish forest industry. Due to the fact that the material is made from wood waste, the composition of wood chips and bark may vary between batches. As a result, the shade of the Kakta Linen may vary over time.
The base is made of steel deriving from industrial side streams. When using repurposed steel, it saves up to 90-95% emissions and energy use compared to virgin steel production and 60-70% compared to recycled steel that has gone through melting processes.

Notable

Because the product is 3D-printed using recycled and bio-based materials, variations in color and texture are natural. These differences make each piece truly unique.
The lamps are delicate and should be handled with care. When moving a table lamp, always lift by the base of the lamp. The lamps can be gently dusted and cleaned using a soft, damp cloth. You can also use a microfiber cloth to remove dust. The glass lid can be taken off and washed with a mild soap if needed. Avoid placing in a window with direct sunlight as the material can be sensitive to strong UV light.
