Horsehair Pendant is a robust study of material that evokes the grace and strength of its equine contributor. Wefts of horsehair are combined with brass and etched glass, implying a structural, weight-bearing function for the coarse hair.

Apparatus is a New York–based interdisciplinary design studio that explores the relationship of lighting, furniture and objects in their environments. Predicated on the modernist principle of Gesamtkunstwerk, or total work of art, fully articulated collections reveal individual pieces as artifacts of a holistic world—each referencing the historical and cultural mood summoned by a singular vision. Apparatus was co-founded in 2012 by Gabriel Hendifar and Jeremy Anderson.

Cast in brass forms with wefts of horsehair and etched glass. Choose between Blackened Brass, Aged Brass, Tarnished Silver, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze. Horsehair available in Polomino, Jet Black, and Flaxen.
