Description
The sun chair H55 was designed by Björn Hultén in connection with the Helsingborg Exhibition in 1955. In addition to Hultén, Alvar Aalto, Stig Lindberg, Yngve Ekström, Finn Juhl, and Arne Jacobsen were represented to show the optimistic development of industrial design since the Stockholm Exhibition 25 years earlier. Björn Hultén's recliner has an eye-catching character and very high comfort, despite a modest amount of material. The comfortable chair has different settings for inclination and is made of teak, stainless steel, and fabric.
