The A-BS01 Barstool was designed during the planning for Blue Bottle Coffee Shibuya Cafe to match the dining chair. While it is a counter chair, consideration was given to the large-sized backrest, allowing you to sit in a relaxed manner for extended periods, and to making it comfortable to sit on.

- The Shibuya Cafe Collection has its native setting in Blue Bottle Coffee Shibuya Cafe located in the Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan. The Shibuya Cafe is the sole tenant of a two-story construction within Kitaya Park, which has been renovated to make it a bright park that opens out to its perimeter giving it the feel of a city recreation area.
