Different Trains Cabinet

Different Trains Cabinet was named after Steve Reich’s contemporary composition of the same name. The sliding movement of the compact laminate doors on the cabinet facade has a visual rhythm that recalls the movement of sounds in the composition.

Long planks of solid hardwood create a cabinet with an open form, while the sliding doors, articulating the facade, partially conceal the cabinet contents, engaging play between positive and negative space.

Available in two widths and one, two, or three tiers, various configurations are possible.

Made in Portugal through advanced technology and craftsmanship to create unique and meaningful objects made of solid carefully selected wood. Each product is detailed and designed to last a lifetime.

Material

Available in black walnut, white oak, or ash in a range of finishes. Sliding compact laminate doors articulate the facade. Matte black painted steel legs.
