Tissø Sofa

The Tissø sofa, from Dagmar, designed by Alfred Christensen is a reissued version of the perfectly formed Model 185 sofa, designed in 1952 for Slagelse Møbelværk. Slagelse Møbelværk was an iconic furniture manufacturer that Alfred owned with his brother Erik. Featuring its distinctive heart-shaped back, the sofa is named after the lake in West Zealand where Alfred and his son Guido would often go fishing. Crafted in solid beech wood with legs in oak or walnut.

Material

Solid beech wood frame constructed using traditional joinery methods. Choose from a wide range of sheepskin and fabrics for the upholstery. Feet are available in walnut, oiled oak, or fumed oak.
