John Derian Pencil Platter

John Derian teamed up with Astier de Villatte to add his iconic imagery to their classic white tableware.

Astier de Villatte brings Parisian poetry to the tabletop with artisanally handmade black terracotta pieces. Finished in a signature milky white glaze, each piece celebrates the clay's imperfections, ensuring uniqueness. Inspired by decorative arts, folk art, and abandoned objects, Tibetan artisans craft the ceramics using traditional techniques. Each creation is sculpted from black terracotta, engraved with the company’s emblem and the craftsman's initials, then finished with a milky glaze to highlight its character.

Astier de Villatte, founded in 1996 by Ivan Pericoli and Benoît Astier de Villatte, is a Paris-based company known for its unique ceramics, hand-printed books, and fragrances. A blend of traditional craftsmanship and innovative design characterizes Astier de Villatte's creations.
